I'm long past being disgusted that conservatives regularly root for millions of their fellow Americans to be killed by terrorists but still remain stumped on the complete absence of logic behind this idea. Apparently the formula is something along the lines of...Major terrorist attack while Republicans are in charge = country will turn to Republicans to protect them.
On the other hand...
Major terrorist attack while Democrats are in charge = country will turn to Republicans to protect them.
Heads they win, tails we lose.
