But I do know that, as long as we live, we must remain true to ourselves.

Kirk Douglas and his wife just dedicated their 400th playground in the L.A. area.

Here's the 91-year old actor on a slide.

I love this guy.

Seriously, how cool is that. Even post-stroke the dude is still keeping busy.

I thought I was the only one who cared about his socks matching! Nicely done Mr. Douglas.

He's tougher in reality than he acted in his movies. Good guy.

Those aren't socks, he's wearing a union suit!

Seriously, that is wicked cool. I haven't seen Mr. Douglas in so long, I was startled that he's 91.

Kirk Douglas is way more awesome than he has any right to be.

The socks are cool (and a lovely Christmas red) but don't forget the playgrounds.

How great of a legacy is that? Because of his and his wife's foundation there are 400 more playgrounds around Los Angeles.

To me that's almost a bigger legacy than his movies.

He building playgrounds so his son can find his next wife at one of them.

It is quite a legacy to have personally built over 400 places of joy and happiness for children. Well done sir...
