You don't get to tell me what to do ever again.


I'm not sure that Newt Gingrich (yeah, I know) gets it-

"You get to the point where you have to take a very deep breath and rethink what you're doing," he said of Bush. "He's still president, and he's got 2 1/2 years left. It's very important not just to him but to the country" that he recover authority. Washington Post 5/22

Having watched this administration use it's reverse Midas touch on everything from the budget to foreign policy I just can't see how it would be a good thing that President Bush "recover authority." The best thing that could happen to the country in the next 2 1/2 years is that we figure out a way to continue to cut him off at the knees and keep him the lamest of lame ducks.

I'm with Bill Maher who apologized recently to the President for teasing him about all the vacation time he was taking and implored him to take more.
