Know why you couldn't figure this one, Keyes? I'll tell ya. 'Cause the guy you were looking for was too close.

"Bush to press Iraqi leader on 'strategy'"

"Joker to press Batman on rise in Gotham crime."

"Industry to press environmental activists on emissions."

"Man to press dog on cell phone use."

"Yoko to press John on shrieking voice heard in his songs."

"Doctor to press patient..."

You get the picture.

Ducks to press Beavers on why they lost the Civil War.

OK maybe the analogy is not quite right.

I love the movie quotes and pictures. I know they are meant to tie in to the political argument at hand but I like them in their own right. Especially the old ones. "Double Indemnity" is one of my favorites. I'm a sucker for that wisecracking Forties patter. Fred MacMurray is outstanding. It's hard to believe he's the same actor in the Nutty Professor. And Edward G. RObinson and Barbara Stanwyck are not too shabby either.

That's right. Why didn't the Beavers throw that one?

Do you think Belotti is going into Moos's job? Personally I put the end of the season collapse to Dixon's play.

"Double Indemnity" is a great flick and there's so much quotable in that film ("They say all native Californians are from Iowa") that I'm sure I'll get to go to that well again.
