That's right, karate... made my whole body a weapon.
At the bookstore a minute ago I saw that Harry Reid has a new book out entitled "The Good Fight."
I'm curious as to when that fight is going to start.
Because if Reid's actually summarizing his view of the last few years of his tenure as Majority Leader I think a more apt title might be "Please Don't Hurt Me."
Can't tell if I whiffed on my comment or you're spoofing on it. Anyway, I was thinking of the other sympathetic nervous system response besides "fight".
So true but it's NOT funny. I have considered myself a democrat all my life and have voted the party line 99% of the time but anymore I see the democrats talking the great talk, just not walking it. Makes me think I should just consider myself an Independent instead and make those fuckers work for my support.
I've reached the point where I either mock them or I wind up crying.
I know Reid is probably alluding to his days as Nevada boxing commissioner as well as his time as senate majority leader with that title but it's simply ridiculous for him to seriously argue he's fought for the values of Americans in his time in the leadership.
The worst part is that he probably truly sees himself as some sort of political scrapper when you and I are fully aware of the instruments of government within his control that he's refused to use.
It's the dawning revelation that the majority of our government is made up of people that are completely delusional.

Like everything else in our government nowadays, the titles are the EXACT opposite of what is real.
Can you pay for the book with waffles?
You snarky blogger you! That can't be true!!!
Oh. It is.
Shit.
Should be The Good Fight I didn't Fight.
"Whatcha talkin' 'bout Dean, it was good for us, heh, heh. Right, Unka Dick?"
It's a typo. The title is missing an "L".
Reid has indeed been a disappointment.

Yup. Every day is opposite day in Washington.

I checked with the publisher. They won't take waffles but they will take belly rubs.

You do a great Bush impression.

"The Lood Fight" doesn't make any sense.

I want Russ Feingold in Reid's job.

You're so on to something most Don Knott's movie titles work for Senator Reid and many of his colleagues:
Ghost and Mr. Chicken (as you start us off with)
The Incredible Mr. Limpet
The Gang that Couldn't Shoot Straight
And true to form, Harry actually spent many afternoons at the whorehouse pool! It's true - he wrote about it himself on HuffPo a while back.

Whiffing. :-)

Great but the closest congress comes to Don Knotts is Barney Fife with his one bullet that he never uses.

Whorehouse pool? Yuck. I hope they used extra chlorine.

I was looking for the perfect place to put this
