I always knew one day you'd come walking in that door."

When I think back to all my best experiences at the movies one thing they seem to have in common is that whatever film I ended up loving I inevitably had to be dragged to the theater to see it by an enthusiastic friend.

When "Raiders of the Lost Ark" came out I was uninterested in seeing the film. The hype was just too much for me. One weekend when we didn't have anything better to do my buddies dragged me to see the flick and, needless to say, I loved it. I also thouroughly enjoyed the two sequels.

I believe I've mentioned some personal cynicism at the behind the scenes stuff on Indy 4 which is currently in production. The fact that George Lucas basically screwed writer Frank Darabont still irks me to no end. The less Lucas has to do with movies these days, the better in my opinion.

Having said that I can't help but say this news has got the geek juices flowing.

Then Spielberg abruptly stood up and said, "You guys hold it down... I have to
get something." There was an uncomfortable few seconds then Spielberg walked
back in with another director's chair. He opens it, revealing "Marion Ravenwood"
stitched onto the chair. Then he brought Karen Allen out... Good God what a
moment... she looks exactly the same!

This is something Indy fans have been clamoring about for a while. Marion was the only equal to Indy in these movies and her appearance here bodes well, imo. Maybe, just maybe, Spielberg and Ford can get this thing right DESPITE George Lucas. Fingers crossed.

I hope Tommy Lee Jones almost catches Harrison Ford, but Ford gets away in an Amish Buggy with Chewbacca.

I have total faith.

In George Lucas' ability to fuck up any film project he touches.

One good casting decision cannot undo the poo that is Lucas… I expect total shit and if Indy 4 is any better than that, we should all feel lucky…

He didn’t like the story… bah… he wouldn’t now what a story was if it ate his left nut.
