Let's hope the Oregon Democrats can convince a strong candidate to run against Gordo but for the moment it doesn't look so good. I'm going to be personally dissapointed if John Kitzhaber doesn't change his mind about running since the guy would beat Smith hand's down.Kitzahber repeatedly opts out of running for the senate claiming he wants to raise his family in Oregon not D.C. Family schamily this is politics. It's IMPORTANT.

Hey, I just saw Kitzy babe picking up his son at, shall we say, an local private school which shall remain nameless; (yea I used to work there...).
Both he and his ex-wife were the NICEST people. Really.
Always professional, always kind and generous with their time and $$, didn't treat the "help", (i.e. school staff) like their personal servants-unlike some other parents who also shall remain nameless.
I would love for them to get back into public life.

Kitz was the last big campaign I spent signifigant time working on so I got to meet him a couple of times and agree that he's down to earth.
I always got the impression that politics were just a sideline and he really didn't have his heart in it.
But his country needs him.
