Maybe it was the ghost of Burgess Meredith. A faint smell of bacon and alcohol was noticed at the crime scene along with a cryptic note about "dynamic duds" taking a "skin boat" to "tuna town."

Maybe. But the third season also had yvonne craig so it's a wash in my book.
Not to be Mr. Contrary, but the Adam West Batman was the one I considered to be "The Batman." All this dark hero stuff was after the fact to a former TV nut like me.
