He used to bring beautiful women here... eat fine meals, drink fine wine, listen to music... but it always ended with screaming.

If this is true it could finally be the Lovecraft movie fans have been hoping for. "At the Mountains of Madness" set in 1939 directed by Guillermo Del Toro? That is all kinds of sweet.

  1. Directed by Guillermo Del Toro. Starring Benicio Del Toro. The award winning motion picture "Of the Bull" will be in theaters this summer.

Seriously though...I hope it is a good Lovecraft film. The world needs one so it can see how to properly apply insanity.

  2. Hmmmm... I'm a bigger fan of other stories, but if it's done well more 1920's (early 30s) Lovecraft stories could be on the way.

  3. Dude - it's Del Toro.

To get a good idea of where this might go only much darker watch the last ten minutes of Hellboy.

    Very Cthuluhuesque.

  4. Hellboy? Please, watch Pan's Labyrinth and you'll be sold. Unfortunately I missed a sanity roll while watching that and now I have Nyctohylophobia and Ommetaphobia.
